All us know what it feels like to hurt or to be hurt and to end up in a debt-debtor relationship because they "owe" us or we "owe" them a debt that can never be repaid. This is a glimpse of the debt-debtor relationship we have when it comes to God...us having a debt we can never repay on our own. So, in Jesus, God has stepped in to do what we could never do for ourselves, if we are willing to accept it.

God, because he's a loving heavenly Father, disciplines his disobedient children not to pay them back, but to win them back.  At some point, He will let us have our way...and as a result, the pain and complications that come with it. So...how can we avoid that?

Disconnected body parts are gross. Don't be Gross.

What David gave his life for and his primary passion towards was God. But how did he sustain that for a lifetime? David's view of God was what enabled him to sustain a long term, passionate perspective of God...but what was that view and how did he discover it?

There's something in me and you that feels we need to earn our way into God's acceptance, but what we learn from Moses is that, even before the law, being under God's blessing and protection came down to one thing, and it wasn't about doing or saying the right things. It is much simpler. The question is, will we do it?

Have you ever been responsible for cleaning up a mess that was so big you didn't even know where to begin? God faced a similar problem, and just like us, He had to start somewhere...so do we. The question is: will we trust Him?

From day one, the preeminent question for every human has been: Is God Trustworthy? Consistently, when we decide He's not, we choose us over Him. In the end, we hurt ourselves, others and the next generation. We end up hiding and blaming. So, what are we to do so we don't ruin our potential to experience all that God wants for us?
