Why couldn't Jesus do what you and I do and simply say, "I forgive you?" We forgive people all the time, but we've never had to die for someone to forgive them. So, why? Why did He have to die?

The end result for most is feeling like there is never enough. The good news is that God offers a permanent solution, but it requires us to get first things first.
